This policy explains how Growth Team Advisory Pty Ltd (ABN 30 669 932 389) handles personal information, consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Who we are

Growth Team Advisory Pty Ltd ("we", "us") is a sales and growth advisory firm at Level 4, 1 James Place, North Sydney NSW 2060, Australia. Questions about this policy can be sent to chris@growthteamadvisory.com.au.

What we collect

We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our business, which may include:

  • Your name, job title, organisation, email address and telephone number when you contact us, book a call or engage our services.
  • Information you provide during an engagement, such as details about your business, sales team and clients. Where this includes personal information about your staff or clients, you are responsible for ensuring you are permitted to share it with us.
  • Records of our correspondence and meetings with you.
  • Technical information about your visit to this website (see "Website and analytics" below).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive information (such as health information or political opinions) and ask that you do not send it to us.

How we collect it

We collect information directly from you: by email, by telephone, in meetings, through any booking tool we use, and through your use of this website. We may also collect publicly available professional information, for example from LinkedIn, when preparing for a conversation with you.

Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange and conduct discovery calls.
  • To scope, deliver, administer and invoice our services.
  • To maintain our records and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
  • To send you information about our services or insights that we think are relevant, where you have agreed or would reasonably expect it. You can opt out at any time by replying to any message or emailing us.
  • To operate, secure and improve this website.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We may share it with service providers who help us run the business, such as email, document storage, scheduling, accounting and website hosting providers, under arrangements that require them to protect it. Some of these providers store data outside Australia. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Website and analytics

This website is hosted on Cloudflare. When you visit it, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to serve the site.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, and device type. We have configured it to anonymise IP addresses and do not use it to identify individuals. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

The site does not use advertising cookies and does not currently contain forms. Contact links open your email application.

Confidential engagement information

Information you share with us during an engagement, including pipeline, client and staff data, is treated as confidential, used only for that engagement, and returned or deleted at its conclusion unless we agree otherwise or are required to retain it.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls on our systems and the use of reputable providers. We retain personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes above and to meet our legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it.

Access and correction

You may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing chris@growthteamadvisory.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
